I ended up going to U Pull R Parts in Rosemount, pulling off the same part ...paid $7.89 for it. Took the door panel off again, took the part out, I ended up using the existing part because I spent 10 minutes looking at it, taking the junkyard find apart and figuring out that I did pull the cable out of a spring loaded piece. I broke nothing like they told me and wanted to charge me $500+ to replace with labor. I fished some wire in their, hooked the spring loaded piece, pulled it back, hooked the cable back up, put it back together and the door was fixed.
They are very friendly. Jon Skogland did a good job getting my car in and out. Fast service. Thank you.
I was disappointed in how they handled it.
To be honest, I don't think they even took my door panel off to look at it. I am almost certain that they just looked at it and decided I needed a new part ($389) plus labor of (~$180). I talked to the guy, Jake, who looked at it and asked what I unhooked it from and he drew me some picture that made zero sense. I had it off several times trying to figure it out so I knew what it looked like. They charged me for this, again I think they took one look at the cable and said, "nope, need to replace that"
Good work done quick. Always feel like they are being honest with me.
I was not very happy about my last visit. I have had some work done here mostly oil changes, simple things. I had a cable come off my car door when I was replacing a window track. I had to roll down my window to open it up. I could not figure out where it unhooked from so I took it in.
I am extremely disappointed in the service we received from Paramount Goodyear Auto Service. My husband made an appointment to have his oil changed and his headlights replaced on his 2005 Mazda 3. He brought his own lreplacement bulbs and let the tech know that the bumper would have to come off in order for the headlights to be seated correctly. When the work was completed, they informed him that it wasn’t necessary to remove the bumper because they had a tech with small hands. The total bill was $155.76 of which $112 was the charge to replace the headlight bulbs, that he brought to the appointment! Outrageous!!!! My husband was skeptical but paid and left the shop. He went for a test drive, after dark, and found that the headlights were not seated correctly. He had very low visibility. My husband went back to the shop to have them correct the problem. He was told by a young girl that they would not correct the issue and that he would have to come back on Wednesday! Again outrageous!!!! If the work wasn’t done right the first time, shouldn’t you fix it immediately?!?! My husband works at 4 in the morning and needs his headlights to be able to see, as most people do! There was no manager on at the time my husband went back to Goodyear. We will be contacting the store to speak with a manager, but we have already had an extremely bad impression of this place. I feel this never should have happened in the first place and all could have been avoided if it had just been done correctly the first time.
Plastic trim for the seat was broken. The cell plastic peace was broken the cord for the engine block heater was left hanging. Skid plate was not put back on right completely reset tripometer so I didn't know how many miles I have put on it. This place was the biggest joke of an auto shop
